Nikki Cross is a professional wrestler currently competing in WWE, where she portrays a villainess.
Nikki Cross made her WWE debut on NXT in August 2016, but it was on October 12 that Nikki began her role as the lone female member of the villainous SAnitY stable, led by Eric Young. She competed for the first time as a villainess against Danielle Kamela, originally defeating Danielle before the decision was reversed due to Nikki relentlessly attacking Danielle.
On the January 11, 2017 episode of NXT, Nikki appeared to come to the aid of NXT Women's Champion Asuka, fighting off the villainous duo of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. However, Nikki delivered her own attack to Asuka afterwards. As a result, Nikki received her first championship opportunity at NXT Takeover: San Antonio, as she, Billie, and Peyton all challenged Asuka for the title. Nikki failed to capture the title after Billie and Peyton put her through the announce table during the match. In the weeks leading up to NXT Takeover: Orlando, Nikki had engaged in a feud with newcomer Ruby Riott, which led to the two women being on opposite sides of an eight person tag team match at the event, which SAnitY won.
On May 3, Nikki participated in a #1 Contender's Battle Royal, and reached the final three along with Riott and Ember Moon. The match was ruled a no contest due to all three women being viciously attacked by the villainous Asuka, but as a result, Nikki received another title opportunity, as it was announced that she, Ember, and Riott would all compete against Asuka for the title. Nikki was defeated by Asuka at NXT Takeover: Chicago, and lost again to Asuka in a Last Woman Standing Match on NXT.
