The Goddess Myria (ミリア) is the primary antagonist of the 1993 fantasy manga Breath of Fire: Ryuu no Senshi (ブレス・オブ・ファイアー~竜の戦士~), which retells the story from the Super Famicom RPG of the same name. The art was done by mangaka Hiroshi Yakumo.
In the story, Myria is the Goddess of destruction who both empowers and feeds off of anger and hatred. She had been defeated once before, in the year 204, but six warriors who sealed her with six goddess keys. In the present year of 2019, she manages to brainwash the manga's secondary villain, Judas, who - in contrast to the video game, is shown to be good and kind deep down, and has him retrieve the keys in order to release her. A new hero, Ryu of the dragon clan, manages to recruit seven companions: Nina, Gilliam, Danc, Builder, Manillo, Deis, and Mogu, and succeeds in defeating her.
