Monica (Onira Tares) was a villainess from the 2017 Lifetime film, Secrets in Suburbia (airdate April 15, 2017). She was a divorce lawyer and (along with Scarlett and Kim) a longtime best friend of the film's protagonist, Gloria.
As revealed later on, Monica is also a villainous co-conspirator in Phil's plot to kill Gloria and steal her family fortune, which he would split with his mistress, Kim. Monica and Phil knew each other from their days at St. Francis, and they were only able to attend the school due to scholarships. Much like Phil, the evil Monica became motivated by her desire to become wealthy, and she willingly wired Gloria's money to Phil, for a $50,000 price--which Monica raised to half of what Phil would be receiving.
Gloria found out about the scheme when she spotted Phil and Monica together when she was following the latter. She later took the bottle of wine that Phil poisoned with antifreeze and served it as she went to them with the revelation that she killed Phil (which wasn't true). Unaware that it was poisoned, Monica drank the wine, and at film's end, she was feeling the effects while she was behind the wheel, which led to her being killed when she accidentally crashed on to a tree.
