Mina Jensen (Elizabeth Debicki) is the main antagonist of the 2018 film The Cloverfield Paradox. She is an Australian space engineer on an alternate-timeline version of Cloverfield Station.

Story[]

When Cloverfield Station is accidentally transported to another dimension (unbeknownst to the crew), strange events start happening, one of which being the appearance of an unfamiliar woman, Jensen, fused with wires inside a wall and asking for help. The crew rescue her and she recovers from her near-death state with help of the station's doctor Monk Acosta.

When communications officer Ava Hamilton talks to Jensen, she says that Hamilton is an old friend of her who stayed on Earth and she (Jensen) does not recognize one of the engineers. The crew realize they are in another dimension and that Jensen is part of it. Jensen later reveals that Hamilton's beloved children (who had died on a fire) are alive in this dimension.

Hamilton decides to go to the Earth of this timeline with Jensen, but when they are about to launch, Jensen suddenly knocks Hamilton out and cancels the launch. She demands Acosta that he gives the firing keys, which he rejects, making Jensen kill him. She later explains that she wants that the Shepard device, which is needed for the survival of Earth, remain in her timeline instead of theirs. She shoots the station's physicist Schmidt twice but he survives. In a final encounter, Hamilton shoots out a window, ejecting Jensen dead into space.
