Michelle Todd (Rosanna Arquette) is a villainess from "Lady Killer," episode 4.11 of Medium (airdate April 7, 2008). She is the featured main villainess in Allison DuBois' visions.
Michelle Todd is the author of A Cougar's Guide to the Hunt: Bagging a Man in the Urban Jungle, which is a self-help book for cougars looking to hook up with older men. She appears as a villainous femme fatale in Allison's dreams, beginning with the opening scenes where she enters a church support group, giving verbal tips while targeting a male member of the group. After listening to his story, Michelle engaged in a sexual encounter with her target in his car, and afterwards, she stated that the plan is to "love 'em and leave 'em," and "go for the kill." Michelle turned heel after her latest tip by stabbing her lover to death with a knife from her purse, which ended Allison's first vision.
The next dream had Michelle at a bar hitting on a young male bartender, while dressed as a rich older woman, doing so due to a belief that young men often seek out such women. After engaging in small talk with the bartender, the villainess engaged in a sexual tryst with him in the kitchen, after which she pulled out a nail gun and fired several nails into him, killing him instantly. The visions came due to actual murders being committed in that same fashion, and because they were connected to the aforementioned book, Michelle actually was suspected and interrogated by Allison and Lee Scanlon. Later on, Allison has a third vision of Michelle's villainous femme fatale persona, which had her dressed in a military outfit after having sex with her latest male lover. She stated that she was shipping out, but she wanted to leave him something to remember him by, after which she tied him to the bed. Shortly afterwards, the evil Michelle strangled him to death with a garrote, with Allison waking up afterwards..
Michelle revealed that the story that Allison's latest vision was based on was actually cut from publishing, and that would end up revealing that her publisher, Elliott Davis, was actually the serial killer, as he had been using Michelle's book to lure in men so he could kill them. Regarding Michelle's evil dream sequence persona, her fate was never revealed.
