Mary Contreras (Jenna Romanin) was the villainess of "Cape Town", episode 2.09 of iZombie (airdate December 8, 2015). Mary was a brazen robber who barged into a high stakes poker game held by Stacey Boss (a recurring villain of the series) and robbed all the attendants at gunpoint, making off with over $50,000.
But soon after her theft, Mary was chased by two of Boss's henchmen, Carlos Rena and Jerry Byrd. Just as she was about to be caught, though, vigilante "superhero" Chris Allred (dressed as his superhero alter ego The Fog) attacked Rena and Byrd under the assumption that they were trying to mug Mary. But once both men were incapacitated and Chris was looking at her bag containing the stolen money, the evil Mary killed Chris by hitting him in the head with a flashlight.
Mary's villainous reveal came when Clive interrogated Rena, who revealed how Mary had robbed the poker game and how Boss wanted her eliminated as a witness to his crimes, also adding how Chris wasn't the first person she'd killed. After Liv (having donned a superhero disguise due to eating Chris' brain) infiltrated Boss' secret headquarters where his men were bringing in illegal guns to sell, she uses both her zombie strength and the strength she picked up from Chris's brain to take them all out before finding Mary, gagged and bound to a chair. Once freed by Liv, Mary pretended to be an innocent victim of Boss' men before Liv went over and found a suitcase filled with money. At that moment, Mary turned heel by striking Liv in the head with a snowglobe before taking out a pistol, preparing to kill Liv before making off with her ill-gotten gains. But before she could, the greedy villainess was shot dead from behind by Stacey Boss.
