Scorned villainess Margot Fawcett

Margot Fawcett (Jade Kammerman) was a villainess from the 2017 Lifetime film, One Small Indiscretion (alternately titled, Fatal Mistakes; airdate September 2, 2017). She was the estranged wife of James Fawcett and the mother of their daughter, Elle.

The beginning of the film took place nine years before the events, with James and Margot arguing, while Elle (12 years of age at the time) was listening. Margot was informed by James that he was divorcing her, and it was at that moment that Margot showed James photographic proof that he was with another woman, Caroline Winters (who was separated from her husband at the time). She continued lashing out at James, while holding a glass of wine, revealing that she was an alcoholic. Margot turned heel when she pointed a gun at James, while accusing him of destroying their family. Despite James' pleas to his wife to put down the gun and think of Elle, the evil Margot shot and killed James before turning the gun on herself and committing suicide.

Trivia

  • Margot Fawcett is similar to fellow Lifetime villainess Janine Haight, as both were mothers of their respective film's antagonists, while also being in bad marriages. In addition, both women ended up killing their respective husbands in a fit of rage, but one difference is Janine's sole intent was on killing her husband; Margot's murderous act was part of a successful murder-suicide.
