Margo Demme (Marcy McCusker) is a villainess from "People With Money", the Season 3 premiere of CSI: NY (airdate September 20, 2006). She was the best friend of fellow socialite Vanessa May, who was found beaten to death in her apartment. Margo initially appeared to have discovered Vanessa's body, telling Sheldon Hawkes she had attempted to revive her when she arrived, appearing heartbroken by her friend's death.

Prior to the episode's events, Margo went with Vanessa to a club to party, which culminated in the two having their respective bodyguards Clarence Rome and Asad Jamilla fight each other. Asad won, resulting in Vanessa being paid $10,000 by Margo. The four returned to Vanessa's apartment later and, wanting a chance to win her money back, Margo challenged Vanessa to a fight, using pillows as makeshift boxing gloves.

The fight intensified, however, when Margo became frustrated and became violent with Vanessa, taking the pillows off her hands and punching her repeatedly. One of Margo's punches eventually knocked Vanessa down, causing her to fatally strike her head on the corner of a coffee table. After realizing Vanessa was dead, Margo conspired with Clarence and Asad to keep quiet about what had happened, with Margo later posing as a grieving best friend who discovered Vanessa's body to avoid suspicions.

Later on, though, her fingerprints were found on the money Vanessa had on her from the fight between Asad and Clarence, allowing the investigators to realize that all three had been present at Vanessa's apartment on the night of her death. Margo was brought in along with Asad and Clarence for separate interrogations, with Margo quickly confessing to killing Vanessa when confronted with the evidence by Danny Messer. During her confession, Margo blasted Vanessa for (in her mind) hating her and making her feel like she wasn't good enough, while claiming her fight with Vanessa "got out of hand" and that she feared their rivalry would make people not believe her death was an accident. Danny stated that while he did believe Margo's actions weren't intentional, it didn't matter now that she had colluded with Asad and Clarence to cover it up, before Margo was arrested (off-screen) along with her cohorts.
