Mara is the co-primary antagonist of "L'Ultima Vittima", the 2nd story in the twenty-eigth issue of the 1995 Italian ero-horror comic "Ultimissime Proibite".
Mara, along with her lover Alfred, are the owners of Cork Castle. On a normal day, tourists are allowed to tour the castle to experience its history. However, on occasion when they are feeling intensely aroused, Mara and Alfred will secretly abduct stragglers so that they may rape, torture, and kill them.
The most recent victims which the story focuses on are protagonist Alessia and her newly acquainted lesbian lover Olga. The two women engage in sexual activity away from the other tourists, which catches the eye of the wicked owners. Alfred waits until they are in a prime spot and then executes a trap door which brings the two tumbling into the dungeon below. Mara is there to greet them and immediately restrains Alessia to a table. An excited Olga, who believes this to all be "part of the show" at the castle, allows herself to be bound as well.
Alfred arrives quickly on the scene and begins to rape the two women while his female partner force feeds them aphrodisiacs. After finally reaching peak arousal, Mara works the wench and hangs Olga. The two sadists then decide to take a break, chatting that Alessia will be next once they dispose of Olga's corpse. Fortunately for Alessia, a stranger witnesses this scene and comes to her rescue. After discovering that her surviving captive has escaped, Mara and Alfred chase them to the top of the castle where a struggle ensues. The evil pair are ultimately overpowered, however, and thrown off the roof to their deaths.
