Magi Rosa (マギー・ローザ) is the main antagonist of "Rose Magician, Smile of Death!!" (バラの魔術師、死の微笑み!!), the ninth episode of the 1989 action anime "Jushin Liger" (獣神ライガー) by creator Go Nagai (永井 豪).
The episode begins with the protagonists watching televised footage of a new circus act that has come to the area. They are all captivated by what they see, especially the final act which stars Magi Rosa. Seeing their enthusiasm, Saeko Yagami offers to part with two tickets to the show that were given to her by her television station, with Ken Taiga and Mai Kamishiro getting the luck of the draw.
At the circus, Mai wanders into Rosa's tent after having gotten separated from Ken. There, she is cornered by Magi Rosa who unsuccessfully attempts to put her under hypnosis. The villainess binds Mai with her cloak and reveals that all of the people in her act which she made "disappear" were sent to be sacrificed to her lord, Drago. She then decides to incorporate Mai into her next act, which involves her slicing into the girl with her sword.
Mai manages to telepathically communicate with Ken, telling him of the magician's intentions. The boy then intervenes in just the nick of time, forcing Magi Rosa to reveal her true demon form. The villainess grows to an enormous size and battles Ken, now in his Liger, and she is ultimately slain.
