Madame Chulock (Jeanne Arnold) is a secondary antagonist in the 1965 episode "Weight of the World" (S01E11) for the TV series "I Spy".
Madame Chulock is a scientist who is working for the Chinese to develop a biological warfare agent. The Chinese pair her up with a fake husband in the form of Dr. Chulock (Albert Salmi) to conduct the experiments in Japan with a convention as their cover.
Kelly Robinson (Robert Culp) and Alexander Scott (Bill Cosby) are assigned to the case. They are teamed up with a new recruit from Washington, Vicki (Marlyn Mason), who will serve as Kelly's wife.
Madame Chulock and her team are conducting the experiments in their hotel room, and Kelly and Alexander do everything they can to find out what is going on inside the room. Their first attempt is by knocking on the door and pretending to be looking for their imaginary friend Joanne.
Vicki comes up with an angle on her own. In the lobby, she befriends Madame Chulock and asks if she could shampoo her hair and then photograph her for Women's Way Magazine. Madame suggests "perhaps another time". Kelly thinks it is an awful idea, since Chulock is a seasoned veteran and would cut her up into a million pieces.
Next, Kelly and Alexander show up at the apartment again. This time they act drunk and with a flaming drink set the door on fire. The doctors including Madame Chulock are forced to evacuate the apartment. Vicki uses the distraction to implant a sample and microscope in the apartment lab.
Vicki then decides to go on her own and knocks on Madame's door. She uses flattery to convince her to let her shampoo her hair so that she can photograph her. Madame Chulock falls for the compliments. While Vicki is keeping the Madame distracted, she left a note for Kelly and Alexander to come in and steal samples of the chemicals in the lab.
Kelly and Alexander are able to get the samples and get out. However, Dr. Chulock and his goons arrive before Vicki is able to leave. Dr. Chulock tells Vicki that his wife is hardly a beauty or cover girl. He attempts to force Vicki to drink a glass of the chemical. Just then, Kelly and Alexander come to her rescue. A fight ensues an Kelly and Alexander knock out the bad guys. Vicki is able to jump on top of Madame Chulock and wrestle a pistol out of her hand. The episode ends with the bad guys and the Madame being taken into custody off screen.
