Mad Maxine Ryder is a scrapped villainess from the 1980's animated series Hulk Hogan's Rock 'N' Wrestling. The animated character was due to be based on the WWE wrestler Mad Maxine.
Mad Maxine was a wrestler who only had two matches in 1985 for WWE, before she quickly left the promotion. Her unique look made WWE want to bring out merchandise for her very quickly, and she was even due to be animated as a character for the upcoming cartoon Hulk Hogan's Rock 'N' Wrestling. However, she left the company before the series was due to air, and her role as a villainous member of Rowdy Roddy Piper's gang of heels went to the Fabulous Moolah instead. It was rumoured that the Fabulous Moolah may have been jealous of Mad Maxine's quick success, and managed to politic her way into the animated role and take it away from Maxine.
The character's existence is confirmed by the early commercials and print advertisements that she appeared in, as well as concept art which WWE posted on their official website.
