Mabille De Lancre (Horror Rises from the Tomb)

Mabille De Lancre (Helga Line) is the villainess in the 1973 horror film "Horror Rises from the Tomb".

In Medieval France, Alaric de Marnac (Paul Naschy) a warlock is be-headed and his mistress Mabille, a witch is tortured and hung upside down with her throat slit. This is done for the two practicing witchcraft and being vampires. Before he is killed, Alaric pronounces a curse against his brother's descendants, who is responsible for his death.

Hundreds of years later, Hugo du Marnac (also Naschy) invites three of his friends to join him for a vacation at his ancient family estate in rural France. They are his friend Maurice Roland (Vic Winner), and their girlfriends Sylvia (Betsabe Ruiz) and Paula (Cristina Suriani). While there they discover the head of Alaric buried on the property in a chest.

The friends set up a seance where they successfully raise the spirit of Alaric and learn the whereabouts of his body and severed head. Stupidly, the foursome travel to the location to see if they can find Alaric's remains. Soon Alaric comes back to life along with his mistress, and they begin possessing people and using them to commit sacrifices.

They execute many of the locals. After the death of her father, Elvira (Emma Cohen) recalls that he has Thor's Hammer amulet hidden in a well. She along with her friend Maurice try to defeat the demonic Alaric and Mabille with the amulet.

At the end, Mabille is stabbed through the chest with a silver knitting needle by Elvira. Her bodies flesh disintegrated and by the time she hit the floor, she was nothing but a skeleton.

Alaric is then destroyed when the talisman is thrown at him. It bounces off his shoulder causing his body to smoke. Elvira then went over and placed the amulet on his forehead by which his neck begins to bleed, which causes his head to once agian leave his body.
