Mabeline Jenson was an unseen villainess mentioned in the 2019 Lifetime film, My Mother's Split Personalities (alternately titled, Terrified at 17; airdate January 12, 2019). She was the mother of main protagonist Gail Price, as well as the grandmother of Gail's daughter, Julie Price.
Mabeline Jenson died in a nursing home before Julie was born, and her obituary was found by Julie after she began to learn about Gail's bout with dissociative identity disorder. After seeing her grandmother's name, Julie eventually figured out that Madeline, one of Gail's alter-egos, was based on Mabeline. The obituary referred to Mabeline as a loving mother and beloved wife, but the latter was revealed as false when Sadie (another of Gail's alter-egos) mentioned her mother having affairs.
Julie later opened Mabeline's journal, which also revealed that her grandmother was a cruel and abusive villainess who never wanted Gail. As the journal revealed, the evil Mabeline constantly left Gail alone in the house, and also starved her and locked her in the closet on several occasions, committing these horrible acts when Gail was a child. Upon reading this, Julie referred to the journal as a deathbed confession, and it served as the reason why Gail never mentioned her mother, while the abuse may have been a factor in Gail's multiple personalities.
