Liv (Emily Hutchison) is the hidden villainess of the 2017 short horror film, tEXt (official release date November 28, 2017). She was the best friend of the film's main protagonist, Kelly Morris, who was housesitting for Liv during the events of the film while she was at work.

One night, Kelly and Liv were texting each other when Kelly's ex-boyfriend, Todd Powers, texted Kelly in an attempt to talk to her. Kelly tells Liv about it, and it is revealed that Kelly broke up with Todd due to suspecting he cheated on her. Liv convinces Kelly not to talk to Todd, with her stance being strengthened by Todd seemingly hacking Kelly's Facebook to change her relationship status to say they were in a relationship.

After someone rings the doorbell and Kelly suspects Todd of watching her (him having knowledge that she was in the state), Liv reassures her friend that it was probably neighborhood kids pranking her and encourages her to eat the dinner she left for her in the refrigerator, stating that she would be home in an hour. But as Kelly ate her food, she suddenly began to choke and eventually collapsed and died at the table. As Kelly was dying, Todd finally texted her the truth: that he had cheated on her with Liv, and claimed that she had seduced him. After that, Liv suddenly walked into the room and stared at her deceased friend, revealing that she had poisoned the food to kill Kelly and had been terrorizing her throughout the night. The film ended with the evil Liv texting Todd on Kelly's phone to meet her at the park, possibly implying that she intended to kill him as well.
