Liu is a female enemy from the 2022 arcade brawler game Final Vendetta. She appears first in Stage 4 (The Docks) as an elite enemy.
Appearance and personality[]
Liu is a muscular Chinese/Korean female boxer with a toned physique, black hair with purple edges, slightly tanned skin, blue sports bra and matching trunks, red boxing gloves, white knee/elbow pads and black combat boots. Her arms are noticibly muscular, and her belly has well-shaped abs. She also has 3 other palette swap/variants named Karen, Ofelia and Tara, with differing life bar lengths and strength.

- Karen: Pink sports bra and trunks, yellow boxing gloves, grey knee/elbow pads and raven hair with blue bangs

- Tara, Orange sports bra and trunks, purple boxing gloves, white knee/elbow pads, dark skin and black hair with orange bangs
Story[]
Liu first appears in the docks of London, along with a handful of other Syndic8 gangsters. She attacks using an uppercut, a powerful jab and sometimes even a bunny punch. She usually blocks the players' punches, but can be knocked down with a diving kick into her face or a combo. She can be knocked out with a backbreaker too, bending her muscular body backward and snapping her spine.
Trivia[]
- Liu gained traction among Final Vendetta to the players, especially to the female boxing community since female boxers in video games are pretty scarce, especially in beat 'em up games. Many of the players wanted her to be a playable character in a DLC or a sequel of Final Vendetta.
- She was originally going to wear a cap, has a dragon tattoo and a "Syndic8" brand emblazoned on her trunks. However, they were cut due to graphical limitations.
- Liu and her variants are voiced by Kristen McGuire, who also voiced all of the female characters in the game including Claire, one of the main protags.
- The official manual and trading card described her as a kickboxer, though she's more like a mix of a wrestler and amateur boxer
