Leeta is the co-primary antagonist of "Squash... Anyone?", the fourth story contained within the 1952 comic book "Tales from the Crypt #32".

Leeta is the secret lover of Milo, an elephant trainer who works for a big-top circus. Knowing that Milo's wife Rene would never accept divorce, the wicked Leeta suggests that he find a way to kill the spouse instead. After a little coaxing on Milo's part, they agree that the perfect way to accomplish this is to have his elephant, Emma, crush Rene's skull during a performance and paint it as a terrible accident. Rene meets her end this very way, and Emma - believed to have gone mad - is shot and killed directly afterwards.

Nevertheless, one year later, the circus returns to that same location, and both Rene and Emma mysteriously rise from the grave. Fueled with vengeance, the zombified Rene commands the equally undead elephant to trample Leeta to death, which she does. Immediately after, Milo is also driven fatally into the ground by Emma's trunk. Their job finished, Rene and the elephant dissolve into a puddle of putrescent slime in the story's final panel.
