Laura Ansford (Lysette Anthony) was a villainess from "Graveyard Rats," the first of three segments from the 1996 film, Trilogy of Terror II. She was the wife of wealthy Roger Ansford, but the beginning of the segment revealed that Laura was having an affair with her cousin, Ben.
Roger found out about the affair, but despite this, he still named Laura as his sole heir. During a confrontation, Roger ordered Laura to remain as his loving wife during his last days, warning her that any indiscretion would result in her being disinherited. After Laura informed Ben that they would have to end their affair, Ben suggested to Laura that they kill Roger. The villainess set the stage for the murder that night, leaving Roger out in the open for Ben to push him down the stairs to his death.
However, the villainous couple's attempt to collect was sidelined by the fact that Roger transferred his riches to an account in Zurich, and microfilmed the access codes--which were buried with him. The pair went to Roger's grave, where Ben killed a grave robber and dug up Roger's grave, where he found the codes. At that moment, the evil Laura shot and killed her lover/cousin, doing so to gain sole possession of her husband's money. After seeing Roger's body dragged through a hole in the side of the coffin, Laura went in after the body to get the codes. During her pursuit, the villainess saw a group of red-eyed flesh eating rats, and she ended up cornered into another empty coffin. Laura fired her gun to keep the rats away, but they eventually entered the coffin and devoured her.
