Lady Romande's Orphanage is an institution run by its namesake Lady Romande. She and her orphanage appear in the French comic series Trolls of Troy Issues 12 and 13.
Lady Romande is a blonde woman in a light blue open-side dress with a large breast window, long sleeves, high boots and a headdress with two cones attached by a red cloth (with additional red cloth on her waists). She has the ability to summon rain at will. Her orphanage staff consist almost entirely of young, slim women dressed in similar black attire but with white aprons and veils akin to nuns (the few older-looking staff present dress more modestly in comparison).
Despite portraying her orphanage as a place of education, the place is downright criminal:
- Lady Romande and her staff openly kidnap children, orphaned or not (including trolls).
- She and her staff routinely abuse the orphans including whippings, solitary confinement and using her rain-making abilities to essentially drown them for misbehaving.
- Lady Romande sells some of her children to unethical clients such as child labourers.
While Lady Romande maintains a friendly facade, her staff are plain cruel. These ladies care only for their pay (based on how many kids their boss sells), have fun hunting down the orphans (whom they call "brats" and "rats") and arrogantly view themselves as "bloodhounds" that the kids could not stand a chance against. These women also carry around whips, swords and even crossbows.

Lady Romande and her staff meet their demise when our two protagonists, Waha and Conan, attempt to find two missing troll children. The pair demanded their location but instead Lady Romande has her staff apprehend, question and try to execute the two by holding them upside down to fill their heads with blood.
Luckily, the orphans had found out the truth about the Lady Romande earlier and were planning a rebellion. They first stole the staff's weapons from underneath them, then freed the pair. The group then faced off with the orphanage staff in a brawl.
Now weaponless, the staff were easily defeated. Lady Romande herself had her clothes torn and breast grabbed while her henchwomen were demolished by the group. Lady Romande, to save herself, revealed the location of the missing trolls and was dragged off by Conan. She was later turned into a troll and unwillingly became Conan's "babe" (essentially his concubine).
Meanwhile, her staff were tied up in humiliating positions by the children. The girl now in charge of orphanage suggested that "when the men come, we could bring them here and they'll give us money to stay awhile". It is implied that the orphans intended to use the female staff as sex slaves and turn the orphanage into a brothel, a brutal yet ironic fate for their former abusers.
