Major Kyra Kaines is a villainess from the Manaworld stories "Hard Time" and "Red's Revenge".
Hard Time[]
Kyra Kaines is a Major in the Imperial Navy who has the stories' heroine, Pirate Queen Veronica Red, arrested on spurious reasons. After she (who is a lesbian) and her men have repeatedly abused Red during her night in jail, Major Kyra has Red crawl back naked to her ship while the pirate queen vows to have her revenge.
Red's Revenge I[]
After several months Veronica Red manages to track down Major Kyra Keines and her Imperial Galleon HMIS Bold Drake.
According to the text only story "A Pleasure Doing Business", Red had learned about a rumor that Major Kyra was going to be posted to an inland territory, out of her reach, which made Kyra even more eager to finally confront the Major.
After Red's men have dispatched of Kyra's men, Red challenges Kyra to a duel. Despite her assurances that she has been trained by the best blademasters in the Empire, Kyra is clearly outmatched. Red chooses to humiliate her and cuts open Kyra's top, because she promised her men quite a show before the fight. After toying with Kyra some more, Red knocks her out cold and has her men take her below decks. Even though Red's ship is only two days away from port, she decides to take the scenic route because she promised Kyra to "pay her back for her hospitality".
Kyra, chained and undressed, is constantly abused by Red's pirates for two weeks while Red watches and mocks her. Even though Kyra pleads for mercy, Red has no mercy to spare. She is her men collectively abuse Kyra one last time while making the ominous threat that the last fews days were just "training" and that the "real fun" was just about to start.
Red's Revenge II[]
Red's ship finally arrives at the island of Ngundo, where Red makes a deal with the voodoo priest Doc Cemeteri. She sells Kyra, dressed up in a white slave-girl outfit, to Doc Cemeteri for use as a concubine. Doc Cemeteri begins a ritual that will make Kyra subservient to whoever owns her in the future. He offers to completely wipe her mind, but Red–still feeling vengeful–refuses this and clarifies that Kyra "must know exactly what be happening to her every second".
Kyra once more demands to be released. Despite feeling helpless and distressed, she musters the energy to vow that this is not the end. But once Cemeteri finishes his ritual, Kyra becomes absolutely subservient to him and begins to have sex with him, even though she–as a lesbian– is utterly disgusted by this.
Cemeteri keeps her for a few weeks to make certain that the enchanment works and then he sells Kyra to some Ngundo natives who travel deep inside the jungle. These natives, who also make use of her, then trade her further until she is finally traded to Obinga, a shaman who has bonded his spirit with a gorilla. Kyra quickly becomes his favourite concubine and she soon carries his child. While inside she still hates every second of this and the knowledge that she will soon become a concubine for all the men of Obinga's tribe, the enchanment prevents her from fighting against this.
Veronica Red, who is informed about all of this in a letter by Doc Cemeteri is radiant with joy, stating that "revenge is sweet".
