Kazumi Tatsumi (Kayoko Fujii) was a villainess from "Alibi Testimony Murder Case", episode 2.02 of Case Closed (airdate August 26, 1996). She was the wife of attorney Souhei Tatsumi, who hired detective Kogoro Mouri to watch her under the suspicion that she was having an affair. Later on, though, Kazumi was found dead in the bathtub of the Tatsumi house, gagged and bound with rope.
As a result of Souhei having an apparent alibi, Kazumi's illicit lover Shunsou Hirose was initially believed to have killed her. However, thanks to Conan Edogawa's deductions, it was revealed that Souhei had killed his wife, and used his hiring of Kogoro to construct the perfect alibi for himself.
Cornered, Souhei revealed that his wife had been a villainous blackmailer, having full knowledge of her husband's illegal activities as a lawyer and demanded he pay her off so she could divorce him and be with Shunsou. Not wanting his career destroyed by his greedy wife, Souhei lured Kazumi to his hotel room office and killed her by strangling her to death.
