Karen Q is a professional wrestler currently competing as a villainess in Ring of Honor.
Karen Q debuted for ROH in a Future of Honor match against Faye Jackson on February 2017; establishing her heel persona with a promo in both English and Chinese. She later went on to defeat Jackson via submission at the ROH Dojo. Karen made her first major ROH appearance two months later; defeating the villainous Kelly Klein via countout. The countout win inserted Karen in a feud with Klein that also included Deonna Purrazzo (who caused Klein's countout loss), and it led to a three-way match on June 24, which Karen won by pinning Deonna.
Karen pinning Deonna started friction between the two, and on August 23, Karen defeated Stella Gray and rudely snapped at Deonna when she attempted to congratulate both women, beginning Karen's heel turn. Two weeks later, Karen turned heel and attacked Deonna during her match against Kelly Klein, causing Deonna to be defeated by Klein. After the match ended, the evil Karen continued attacking Deonna and told her to stay out of her business, after which Karen gave a sinister smirk to cement herself as a villainess. On November 8, Karen defeated Deonna in a grudge match, doing so with the use of a chair.
Karen was announced as one of the 16 entrants in the Women of Honor Tournament to crown the first ever Women of Honor Champion. She began antagonizing Brandi Rhodes in the weeks leading up to the tournament, including appearing on commentary and mocking Brandi during and after her match. The pair faced each other in the first round of the tournament, which ended with Karen upset by Brandi.
It was announced in the summer of 2018 that Karen Q would participate in WWE's second annual Mae Young Classic, and the Bracketology special on August 29 revealed that her first round opponent would be Xia Li. Karen's appearance aired as part of the third episode of the tournament on September 19, and the match saw the women bow to each other on two occasions, with the second occasion ending with Karen turning heel and delivering a slap to Xia Li. Karen performed as a heel throughout the match, which saw her defeated by Xia Li.
