The evil Karen Davies

Karen Davies (Judith Chapman) is the villainous murderess in "See You In Court, Baby" the third episode of season seven in Murder, She Wrote. She works for hateful divorce lawyer Truman Calloway as his secretary.

Truman Calloway has been divorced himself, twice. Between these divorces, Karen and Truman resumed their love relationship. But after Truman's second divorce with Charmaine Calloway, Karen wanted to settle their relationship permanent. But Truman has his eyes on aspiring actress Joyce Templeton.

One night, Truman and Karen were in the office. Truman told the news to Karen that he was going to marry Joyce rather than Karen, despite their long relationship. This angered Karen, leading her to grab the letter opener and stab Truman.

Dennis Stanton, a friend of Jessica Fletcher and an insurance investigator, unmasked Karen as the murderess when it was hinted by lawyer and former policeman Joe Briscoe that Karen was Truman's "in-between lover", that Karen was in a relationship with Truman after the divorce. Another evidence that proved that Karen killed Truman was when she stated that she called a private investigator just before dinner. But the investigator was in Hawaii, the time was all wrong, he could not have been eating dinner at the time, so Karen could not have made that call. Karen was about to reach in for the gun in her purse until Dennis grabbed the purse and retrieved the gun. Karen was arrested for Truman's murder off-screen.
