Julia, played by Anne-Marie Baumann is a villainess in the 1959 Peplum sword and sandal action film, "The Last Days of Pompeii". It's original name was "Gil ultimi giomi di Pompei". Julia is an evil conspirator behind a series of murders and an attempt to topple the Roman Empire. She amasses a treasure at the Temple of Isis to raise an Egyptian Army against Rome. She does all this from behind the scenes as the lover of the Consul of Pompeii. Julia has control of a group of black-hooded men that assist her. Her deads are discovered by Ascanius, and after she confesses it to him, she stabs him. She then blames the murder on the hero Glaucus, who is imprisoned. Towards the end of the movie she watches gleefully anticipating Glaucus' death in the arena. However, the hero survives and helps instigate a rebellion. Julia has to escape ignominously to the temple to collect the treasure with her accomplice. However, the volcano erupts and the statue of Isis collapses on top of the conspirators.
