Judith Lanfranco (Boti Bliss) is the main villainess from "The Dude in the Dam," episode 9.08 of Bones (airdate November 11, 2013). She is the owner of a sperm bank which had print model Shawn Nolan as a donor.
Shawn Nolan was found dead inside a beaver dam, and the investigation into his murder revealed that he was a sperm donor. The reveal came via photos of various children, and during Dr. Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth's meeting with the children and their mothers, the former notices their resemblance to Shawn, revealing him as the father of the children. Judith was later interviewed by Lance Sweets, and she revealed that she sold the sperm as a "genius" sample due to the donor having attended Yale, only for Shawn to be revealed as a community college dropout.
Judith stated to Sweets that their relationship was strictly business, but Booth's investigation into Judith's financials revealed otherwise. It was uncovered that Judith was giving him money, and during her interview with Booth and Brennan, Judith revealed that not only were she and Shawn lovers, but she was carrying his baby. She admitted to having an affair with Shawn and claimed that he wanted a baby of his own; a baby that they were planning to raise together. After it was revealed that a hoe was the murder weapon and that the killer was going after his manhood, Shawn's girlfriend, Veronica Bardach, was suspected and interrogated by Booth and Sweets. Veronica revealed that she had known about Shawn's affair with Judith, but in a twist, she laughed off claims that Shawn was planning on raising Judith's baby--revealing that Shawn actually never wanted kids.
Veronica's statement led Booth and Sweets to correctly conclude that Judith was Shawn's killer, and a fingernail found in the orbital socket was connected to Judith. As it turned out, Judith's news about her pregnancy with Shawn's baby was met with laughter and ridicule from Shawn, leading to Judith attacking her lover with the aforementioned hoe, and ended up killing him when the weapon severed his femoral artery. During her interrogation, the evil Judith confessed to the murder, while voicing her bitterness and anger towards Shawn for laughing over Judith carrying their child when he fathered so many children. Following her confession, Judith was arrested (off-screen).
