Jolene Kelso (Jennifer O'Dell) is a villainess from "Dead in the Water," episode 6.11 of Diagnosis Murder (airdate December 17, 1998). She is a waitress at a small town where Jesse Travis and his girlfriend, Susan Hilliard, ended up stopping on their way to Carmel. Jolene is also the daughter of the town's sheriff, and she first met Jesse and Susan at the diner after the latter saw her former boyfriend, Greg Hutchens, who she believed was dead.
It was revealed that Greg faked his death and plundered a shipwrecked vessel, with the townspeople gaining from the ill-gotten fortune. As for Jolene, she was revealed as Greg's new girlfriend, as Susan spotted her and Greg making out with each other. Greg was later murdered as part of the townspeople's plan to keep their sinister secret hidden, though it was never confirmed which of the people actually killed him.
Despite that, Jolene was revealed as one of many villainous conspirators in the episode's climax, after Sheriff Kelso had Jesse and Susan locked up with plans to kill them. Mark Sloan arrived at the town with Steve and Amanda to save their friends, with various authorities after them. Following the reveal, the evil Jolene ended up arrested (off-screen), along with her father and the other conspirators.
