Jessica Paxton (Alisen Down) is a villainess from "The Hold Out," episode 2.05 of Cracked (airdate October 28, 2013). She is the wife of Dave Harrison, and the couple were neighbors of Ed Janoski.
Ed was the lone hold out regarding land developer Damian Tremblay's plan to build a condo complex on the neighborhood property, with his refusal keeping the tenants from moving to the complex. Ed's holding out was due to sentimental reasons, but that didn't matter to the neighbors, who were upset over the refusal. Out of all of them, Jessica was the most infuriated, and she would resort to fiendish measures to force Ed to move. The deranged villainess made a barrage of threatening crank calls to Ed, threatening his life if he didn't move, and she also stalked the house on a few occasions.
Jessica and Dave were asked about Ed after a bomb went off in his chimney, with Detectives Aidan Black and Poppy Wisnewski conducting the interview. Jessica voiced her disdain for Ed and his hold out, but managed to keep her villainous actions a secret. However, after Aidan inspected Ed's phone records, he and Poppy encountered the couple again, this time bringing up the crank calls. Jessica's reveal came when the detectives dialed a number to a burner phone, with Jessica's phone ringing. The couple was arrested and taken into custody, and during interrogation, the evil Jessica defended her actions, stating that Ed's holding out was affecting her mental health. In response, Leo Beckett voicing his displeasure over Jessica's callous defense, stating that Ed was in worse health due to everything that had been going on. The final scenes revealed that Jessica and Dave had moved to Burlington, which is where they would perform the community service that they were sentenced to.
