Jennifer Stupaine (Laura Leigh Hughes) is a villainess from "Hush," episode 1.16 of CSI: NY (airdate February 23, 2005). She is the wife of John Stupaine, and an instructor (along with her husband) in a forniphilia seminar for safe bondage practices.
Jennifer was a participant in one practice, which had her as a passenger during an experience that involved a woman named Debbie Bogda tied to the hood of a car--naked. The driver was Debbie's husband, Rob, and Jennifer was videotaping with a Super 8 camera. The car had a button that was to be pressed the moment Debbie wanted to stop, but after it was pressed, Rob ignored the message, expressing apparent anger over the fact that this was the thing that was turning Debbie on, and he continued speeding, despite Jennifer's pleas. This led to an accident that ended up killing Debbie, and after the crash, Jennifer covered up for Rob.
Aiden Burn and Danny Messer visited the Stupaine home, with the latter inspecting Jennifer's body and noticing bruises that revealed that she was in a car accident. Further evidence uncovered Jennifer's role in the crash that killed Debbie, and during her confrontation with Aiden and Danny, the evil Jennifer continued covering for Rob, only saying that her job was to make sure that Debbie had a safe experience, while refusing to reveal who she videotaped. However, Rob's role his wife's death ended up being revealed, and after this, both Jennifer and Rob were handcuffed and arrested.
