Jean Naté (Gillian Vigman) is the main villainess from Angie Tribeca's second episode, "The Wedding Planner Did It" (airdate January 17, 2016). She is a famous celebrity wedding planner who is also the villainous mastermind of a drug selling operation. Jean colluded with baker Franc Schubert to distribute the drugs through wedding cakes, with Schubert mixing the cocaine into the batter.
At one point, Schubert wanted out of the operation and informed Jean, who responded to Schubert request by shooting him to death and making the murder look like a suicide. After learning about Jean's true role, Angie and Geils went undercover as an engaged couple, with Jean scheduling their "wedding" to take place tomorrow--while making one of her drug deals. On the next day, after a dance at the reception ends with Geils re-injuring his knee (from falling down the elevator shaft in the end of the pilot episode), Angie (among various other attending undercover cops) holds Jean under arrest.
The villainess made her escape, with Angie chasing Jean though various multi-cultural wedding receptions. Finally, Angie manages to trap Jean by tossing a bouquet at her, which Jean catches, leading to various single women tackling her to get the bouquet, only for Geils to emerge with it. While Angie handed Geils the handcuffs to put on Jean, however, the pair stared at each other long enough for Jean to get away again.
