Janine Harwick (Ellen Ewusie) is a villainess from the 2018 Hallmark film, Hailey Dean Mystery: 2 + 2 = Murder, the fourth film of the Hailey Dean Mystery series (airdate June 3, 2018). She is a teacher at an elementary school that has Parker Dean, Hailey Dean's niece, as a student.
However, Janine had a psychotic and villainous past, as while she worked as a teacher at a school in Texas, she had terrorized a fellow teacher. Janine's actions reached the point where a warrant was out for her arrest in Texas, but she had escaped and taken a job at Parker's school, where Naomi Sacks worked as a music teacher. When Naomi and her boyfriend, Jeff Adkins, were murdered, suspicion fell on Janine due to Naomi being promoted to vice principal: a job that Janine had wanted.
Hailey and Danny Morgan went to the school looking for Janine, only to find her new vice principal's office empty, as Janine was on the run believing that her past crime had caught up with her. Her attempt to get away in her car was thwarted by Fincher Garland handcuffing her and taking her into custody, and during interrogation, the evil Janine revealed her true bitterness over Naomi's promotion, stating that she deserved it over Naomi. Janine was cleared of the murders, as the school's principal was the true killer, but Janine's reveal as a psychotic villainess was provided by Fincher in the final scenes of the film, and she was most likely arrested (off-screen) for her actions.
