Isabella (Scilla Gabel) is the evil Duke's daughter in the 1960 Italian peplum film, "The Queen of the Pirates".

Along the Adriatic coast the duchy of Doruzza in the 16h century is governed by Duke Zulian (Paul Muller) and his haughty daughter Isabella. When the two try to commit a gross injustice, the naval officer and merchant, Capt. Mirko (Jose Jaspe) and his daughter Sandra (Gianna Maria Canale) get in their way. They end up being persecuted and arrested.

Isabella plays the spoiled heiress. She is perfectly happy to endorse her father's white slavery operation, as long as it allows her to stay in jewels and pretty dresses.

The count Cesar de Santacroce (Massimo Serato), Isabella's fiancee, intercedes for them, and they are set free, only to be arrested again by the treacherous Isabella. Isabella is jealous of Sandra's beauty, and dispatches her for slavery to a harem in the Middle East. Mirko escapes from his attackers, and manages to get control of the ship. He frees his daughter, who quickly becomes the Queen of the Adriatic pirates. This brings Cesare to a difficult choice between the beauty of Isabella or Barbara.

Duke Zulian is later mortally wounded and gives a deathbed confession that Sandra is his real daughter and rightful heiress. Many years previous, he had ordered Mirko a sea captain to kill the girl, but the sea captain spared her and raised her as his own. Isabella is later sent to a convent and Sandra marries Cesar de Santacroce.
