Irina (Maggie Q) is the main villainess from the 2018 comedy, The Con is On.
Irina is a ruthless and notorious gangster who had been relentlessly pursuing protagonists Harriet and Peter Fox over a £40,000 debt. Though the money was part of Irina's rage, it was also revealed that her anger towards Harriet was due to the fact that they were once not only partners in crime, they were lovers as well. It was after Harriet's latest job with Irina that she met and married Peter (who was an inadvertent pawn in one of their jobs), while also running off with the cash, leaving Irina furious.
Irina's pursuit of Harriet saw her kill many in her way and also approach Sidney, a vicar and criminal cohort, who later helped her in her search for Harriet. She eventually caught up to her former lover and had her tied up, professing her love for Harriet while also demanding what she was owed. The villainess was informed by Harriet that she would be paid off, as they were attempting to steal an expensive ring that belonged to Peter's actress ex-wife, Jackie. The theft was successful, but at that moment, the evil Irina appeared at Jackie's home and killed Hans while looking for Harriet, who planned to take the real ring and give Irina a fake one. Both women traded gunshots, even after Irina was given the ring, with the villainess being shot in her left hand. However, as Harriet realized, Irina received the real ring by accident, and her fate beyond that is unknown.
