Ikuyo Hasegawa aka Misato Uehara (Michie Tomizawa) is the villainess of "The Big Investigation of the Nine Doors", episode 7.20 of Case Closed (airdate February 28, 2000). She was initially introduced as a resident of an apartment complex, where Conan Edogawa and his friends were investigating an apparent "SOS" message that had been dropped from one of the rooms.

Ultimately, though, the SOS message (which consisted of hooks attached to a wedding ring to form the word SOS) revealed the truth about "Misato": she was an imposter. The ring had "A to M" engraved on it, as the ring was given to Misato by her husband, Akihiko. When Conan realized this and confronted Ikuyo, he saw she was wearing the ring belonging to Akihiko, as well as the fact that the real Misato's ring wouldn't fit on her finger.

After Conan revealed to Ikuyo that he knew she was an imposter, the evil Ikuyo attempted to chloroform Conan, only for him to knock her out with his stun gun watch. Conan then freed the real Misato, who Ikuyo had tied up and gagged in a storage room, and Ikuyo was later arrested. As she was taken away by the police, Conan revealed via voice-over Ikuyo's motivation: she had been a former employee for the company owned by Akihiko, and had been fired for wasting company money. Enraged, Ikuyo went to Akihiro's house to kill him in revenge, only to arrive when his wife Misato was home alone. Ikuyo then changed plans by chloroforming Misato and holding her hostage in the apartment, with Misato managing to drop her makeshift SOS message out the window before being caught and forcibly drugged again by her captor.
