Hawkina was a native slave trader in the lands protected by Sheena, Queen of the Jungle. She murdered the previous ruler of the slave trade in the region (Black Beard), anointing herself queen and taking his followers. Sheena unsuccessfully attempts to stop her latest slave trade to a foreigner. Hawkina thinks she kills Sheena with her poisoned mace, then abducts the native women from K’hama Village, keeping the strong and killing the old and weak. Sheena’s romantic interest is taken hostage and Hawkina is about to blast him close range with a cannon. Sheena frees the slaves and attacks Hawkina, blowing up her own cannon gunpowder. Hawkina and the cliff she is standing on fall into the sea, killing her and her followers. One-off villainess appears in Jumbo Comics #79 from 1945.
