Hannah Simmer is a villainess from "Deadly Legacy", case #36 of Criminal Case: Pacific Bay, the 2nd season of the crime solving game Criminal Case (release date December 30, 2014). She was a music composer who was working on the instrumental score for director Margaret Hatchman's film, Legacy. She became a suspect when Margaret was found murdered on the set, but was ultimately proven innocent in the director's death.
But after the case was closed, the team continued to investigate the plans of the infamous Ivywood Hills cult known as "The Utopians", Hannah was revealed as a conspirator for the nefarious organization. Hannah had helped create fine-tune ELFs (Extremely Low Frequencies), which the Utopians planned to use to brainwash the attendants of the upcoming Ivywood Film Awards ceremony.
As part of the Utopians' scheme, the evil Hannah brainwashed lion tamer Brad Belinsky and ordered him to kidnap police profiler Russell Crane (a former unwilling member of the cult) and take him to the symphony room of the coliseum where Margaret's movie was being filmed. After the player and detective Amy Young saved Russell, the three investigated the symphony room and found a document containing the research Hannah had done on ELFs, as well as the Utopians' dastardly intentions. After Russell and the player deduced that only someone with perfect hearing could have figured out how to use ELFs for mind control, Hannah's villainous involvement in the Utopian cult was uncovered and she was placed under arrest by Amy. Hannah calmly surrendered, but warned the detectives that the Utopian cult had perfected their brainwashing technique and would succeed in their hegemonic plan.
