Héméra (Alexia Chardard) is one of the main antagonists of the French comedy horror movie, "Some Like It Rare" (2021).
History[]
Hémera is a fervent activist for the vegan cause, and she is part of a group of ecological terrorists, whose actions terrorize meat lovers and butchers in the region. During attacks by terrorist groups, she wears a duck mask, and does not hesitate to vandalize and hurt anyone who kills animals for food. We quickly learn that Hémera, in addition to being a friend of animals, is also a nymphomaniac who uses her charms to seduce her future victims (butchers, hunters and other lovers of fresh meat).
Unfortunately for her and her acolytes, she will meet a couple of psychopathic and cannibal butchers, who pass themselves off as vegan activists. In reality, this cannibalistic couple are also looking for easy prey, but vegan people they can eat and store the meat in the shelves of their butcher's shop. While everyone opposes them, the butchers join forces for a while to destroy a competing industrial butchery. As a good temptress, Hémera has succeeded in seducing and making love to an enemy butcher, and stealing the keys to his meat factory. The couple of cannibals see it as an opportunity to get rid of the competition and take revenge on a powerful local industrial butcher. During the attack, Hémera does not hesitate to destroy the shelves with baseball bats and set fire to the warehouse.
A few days after the attack, the vegan terrorists realize that they have been tricked into the identity of the couple and that they are not vegetarians but professional butchers. Hémera and her clan then want to take revenge for this lie, by capturing them to cut them up and store them like ordinary piles of meat.
The group managed to capture only the butcher's wife, who was alone at work, when her husband had just left her after an argument. The vegan terrorists tie her to a chair and sequester her in the cold room, planning to cut her up and hang her on a hook like animal meat. Hémera rejoices sadistically at this spectacle, where the butcher turns into meat to be butchered. Hémera feels no form of compassion at the time of taking action, but when all hope seemed lost, the butcher husband appears to save her wife. While the couple's dog jumped to bite the crotch of one of the terrorists, Hémera grabbed a knife before running and screaming in the direction of this troublemaker enemy. Before she reaches him, the butcher cuts her in her tracks, throwing a chopper right in her forehead. She collapses, and dies bleeding to the ground. RIP Héméra...
