Gala Gallardo (Idalis DeLeon) is the titular villainess from Nip/Tuck's fourth season finale, "Gala Gallardo" (airdate December 12, 2006). She is the wife of notorious drug lord Escobar Gallardo, and as revealed in the episode, she had been running his business while he was incarcerated. Under the orders of Escobar, Gala became the latest patient for McNamara/Troy, as she needed her breasts redone after they were mutilated by some of Escobar's long list of enemies.
After the procedure was done, Gala was surprised to see Escobar held at gunpoint by an enraged Liz Cruz, who was seeking payback for her kidney being cut out of her (under his orders). Liz is eventually calmed down by Sean, Christian, and Gala, with Gala instructing Liz to give her the gun. Escobar praises his wife for saving him, only for the villainess to shoot Escobar dead in cold blood. After killing her husband, Gala stated that he'll no longer plague McNamara/Troy, though it's hinted that Gala killed Escobar to gain full control of his business--stating that the business "was better without him." Gala left Escobar's body for Sean, Christian, and Liz to dispose of. Her fate is unknown at the episode's end.
It is not until the Season 6 episode, "Virginia Hayes", that Gala & Escobar's daughter, Aurelia, confirms that Gala is deceased.
