Dr. Blight (Captain Planet and the Planeteers)

Dr. Blight is the a female antagonist of the 1990s animated TV series Captain Planet and the Planeteers. Dr. Blight is a mad scientist who represents the dangers of uncontrolled technology and unethical scientific experimentation. As a result of self-experimentation, the left half of her face is horribly scarred; this is usually hidden by her hair.

Dr. Blight is a mad scientist bent on pollution. Her assistant is her computer Mal. She also worked with other antagonists including Hoggish Greedly, Looten Plunder, Dr. Duke Nukem, Vernomous Skumm, and Sly Sludge. in other episodes Blight is revealed to be scarred and is obsessed with finding a cure. Blight is always defeated by Captain Planet.
