Queen Princess was an evil Sleeping Beauty + Cinderella analogue who took tyrannical control of the cartoon dimension of Ecch. She appeared in Marvel’s Slapstick (2017) #5-6.
Story[]
The zany, crude, ‘cartoon in the real-world’ hero Slapstick travels to the dimension Ecch with a small allied group of humans to rescue his best friend and hopes of ridding himself of his powers (mostly because he has no ‘dingus’ in cartoon form). Slapstick’s body is made from Electroplasm, giving him ‘looney toon’ like powers and indestructibility. The citizens of dimension Ecch are also living cartoons missing their ‘no no bits’.
The new ruler of Ecch, Queen Princess, at first seems benevolent, if controlling. She often breaks into animated style song storytelling. Queen Princess persuades Slapstick and his allies to take down her enemy, the E.V.I.L. organization, which is actually a rebel group attempting to overthrow the evil Queen Princess. After, she reveals that she melts down her enemies their toon essence and secretly converts them into babies. She keeps her ‘rube’ subjects loyal by promising to get them their “no no bits” back (which she is secretely responsible for), but also provides them babies to raise. Turning on Slapstick, she pits him against his best friend Mike in her death arena (calling them traitors to the realm).
Slapstick escapes the death arena then comes across the decapitated head of the captured evil scientist supreme of dimension Ecch in his tower laboratory. He tells Queen Princess’ origin - explaining that in an explosion his decapitated head went through a window and into the lap a lowly scullery maid named Princess. Princess agreed to help him build a new body if he helped her take revenge on her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. She mercilessly melts them down into babies with the scientist’s equipment and then demands he help her conquer dimension Ecch. Princess later became known as Queen Princess when she conquered Dimension Ecch by using the Luna Marines, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Birds and the War D.O.G.S. to do her bidding.
In the final battle in the laboratory, Slapstick’s allies plan to use the scientist’s machines to de-animate the population of Ecch, turning them into flesh & blood so they can procreate again. Not wanting to lose her “baby-making” power over the people, Queen Princess battles Slapstick in the laboratory. She pulls exaggerated cartoon weapons out of her cleavage and berates Slapstick for his lack of a dingus. They are evenly matched, and neither can be permanently harmed in cartoon form.
As they fight, the machine de-animates the populace of Ecch in dimensional waves, including Queen Princess. As her transformation completes Queen Princess bargains with Slapstick to betray his friends, promising to give him his dingus back so he can rule by her side and have sex with her. She lunges with Slapstick’s mallet at his allies to kill them and reverse the process. The mallet vanishes from her hands as it re-materializes in Slapstick’s. Queen Princess is weaponless and no longer a threat, but Slapstick goes on the attack finish her off. He immediately throws the mallet at her back, knocking her to the ground, and then launches an overwhelming barrage of mallets at her. This action topples a huge anvil high off a debris pile which lands directly on the terrified Queen Princess, crushing her instantly, while Slapstick makes a ‘that’s all folks’ joke.
