The Assassin (Heidi Moneymaker) is a secondary antagonist in the 2017 action thriller "John Wick: Chapter 2".
The Assassin is one of several unnamed assassins who attempt to kill John Wick (Keanu Reeves) in order to claim the bounty on his head. She is first seen receiving a message on her phone indicating the open contract on John's head, smiling confidently to herself. When she spots John passing by during her performance, she quickly puts her instrument away and opens fire at John with a silenced pistol. John manages to close the distance on her and engage the violinist in a hand-to-hand fight.
In the ensuing melee the assassin strikes John in the face with a roundhouse kick and fires two shots into his stomach before he knocks the weapon out of her hand and sweeps her off her feet. John kneels over the assassin and wrenches her arms backwards, breaking it.
The fight ends badly for the assassin, when John places his hands underneath her chin and yanks her head backwards. The unfortunate assassin lets out one last desperate cry before John wrenches her head sideways, snapping her neck.
