The unnamed Evil Queen (Nicki Minaj) is the villainess of Nicki Minaj's music video, Va Va Voom (release date October 26, 2012). She was a villainous witch who, in a nod to Snow White, was implied to be envious of the video's protagonist (played by Minaj in a dual role), shown being romanced by a suitor.
In another nod to the classic fairy tale, the evil queen sent a knight to kill her romantic rival, with the man threatening the woman as she was cooking in a forest cottage. Later on, though, the woman was shown sleeping in a glass coffin, presumably having been poisoned by the evil queen to fall into eternal sleep. In the video's climax, a man appears into the forest, presumably having come to rescue the incapacitated woman.
But before he could reach her, the man approached a golden mirror, where the evil queen made her first onscreen appearance of the video. As she appeared, the queen seductively danced for the man, obviously intent of seducing him. Her plan works, with the man riding out of the forest on his horse without freeing the evil queen's nemesis.
