Beth (Giorgia Whigham), also known as Ghostface, was the hidden main villainess of the third season of Scream, which was titled Scream: Resurrection (airdates July 8-10, 2019).
Introduction[]
Beth was a tattoo artist who was introduced in the third season opener, "The Deadfast Club," as one of a number of students who were sent to detention at Weaver High School in Atlanta—with Deion Elliot, Olivia "Liv" Reynolds, Amir Ayoub, Kym, and Manny also present. Other than her goth girl demeanor, Beth was revealed to have a vast knowledge of horror films and their tropes, making various references when a rash of Ghostface murders began, with Avery Johnson (a racist bully and one of Deion's football teammates) becoming their second victim.
The season's progression also saw the deaths of student-turned-drug dealer Shane, Manny, Amir (who Beth developed romantic feelings for), and several others. Furthermore, Officer Reynolds (Liv's father) was attacked, with Deion being set up to take the fall for it at the end of the season's fourth episode, "Ports in the Storm."
Heel Turn/Reveal[]

Because of Liv's role in Deion being ejected from her house by her father, she was suspected of being Ghostface. Deion (following his release) suspected his half-brother, Jamal "Jay" Elliot, by the season's penultimate episode, "Blindspots," which ended with Jay being stabbed by Ghostface. Despite this, the following episode and season finale, "Endgame," saw Jay reveal to Deion that he was in fact Ghostface. The various murders he committed were motivated by two things—with one of them being how his mother committed suicide after his bigamist father Earl left her for Sherry Elliot (the mother of Deion and his twin brother Marcus), and the other being the truth about Deion's identity.
The season's opening had established that eight years ago, the Elliot twin brothers were trick-or-treating together on Halloween, only for the night to turn tragic when Marcus was indirectly killed by Luther Thompson, a Vietnam War veteran with PTSD. However, in a shocking twist, Deion was uncovered as the real victim, meaning that Marcus ran off out of fear before assuming his identity afterwards. His motive for posing as his dead brother ever since was the fact that their relatives and his peers treated Deion better than they ever treated him.
Before he died, Jay stated that he did not kill Shane, Amir, and Manny, while also revealing that he had a female accomplice. Meanwhile, Liv and Beth were at Weaver's library after Ghostface sent a message telling them to return to their school, and it was at that point that they discussed the murders, with Beth voicing her anger over seeing Amir being killed with a bonesaw. Liv saw that detail as unveiling Beth to be the true killer, and after answering Deion's text, she attacked Beth. Marcus arrived and saw blood on Liv, with Liv citing that Beth somehow knew what Amir's murder weapon was, only for Beth herself to claim that she had to watch him die. Unsure who to believe, Marcus took out his phone to call the police, but before he could, Beth turned heel by shooting him and calling him by his real name, officially revealing herself as the second Ghostface.
Confession/Death[]

After Marcus' presumed death, Beth cemented her heel turn, put on her Ghostface costume, and chased Liv around the school, during which she boldly admitted to being the mastermind behind the killings. The deranged villainess stated to Liv that she had always known she was a sociopath, claiming that it explained her love of horror movies. Not satisfied with watching slashers kill, Beth decided that she wanted to become one herself, knowing full well that she had the ability to become "a better monster" (in her mind). Her chance came when Jay stopped by her tattoo shop, and after he spoke about Deion/Marcus, the pair had a sexual tryst, and Beth decided to use him to help fulfill her murderous thirst.
The pair's twisted collusion culminated in Jay killing his victims to give his accomplice alibis—with the evil Beth slashing Latavious' throat, injecting a deadly dose of drugs into one of Shane's eyes, blowing up Kym's abandoned car with Manny inside of it, partially bisecting Amir using a bonesaw while he was on an ascending elevator, and also stabbing Officer B. Westbrook's head before lighting him on fire. Afterwards, the maniacal criminal betrayed Jay by stabbing him multiple times with a trash picker, as she needed a scapegoat for the murder spree; additionally, she tricked Kym into fleeing to save herself. Originally, she labelled Liv as the "final girl," but then stated that they don't always survive, adding that most horror movies are about the killer—who she stated was the real hero.
Just as she was about to kill Liv, Marcus resurfaced and struck Beth's head with his football helmet, which Liv then used to do the same—sending her falling backwards through a glass rooftop onto the floor below. A few minutes later, Kym arrived with a gun in hand, as she figured out Beth's true nature. Marcus and Liv told Kym that Beth was already dead, but she stated that the killer always comes back for one last scare. True to her warning, Beth suddenly rose up from the floor and made another attempt to kill both of them, only to end up quickly being shot to death by Kym.
