Mariángel Sanchez de Moncada (Andrea Lopez) is an antagonist in the 2007 Spanish telenovela based on Johnston McCulley's Zorro. The series included over 110 episodes.
Mariángel is the evil younger stepsister (officially half-sister) of Esmeralda Sanchez de Moncada (Marlene Favela), who was the main heroine and wife of Don Diego, aka Zorro. Mariángel is the lover of Comandante Ricardo Montero de Avila, the villain of the series. However, she is incapable of truly loving anyone besides herself.
She may lust them, may like them when they are nice to her and give her gifts, but true unselfish love is impossible for her. She is driven by envy, greed and selfishness. She destroys everyone who comes too near to her.

Marianagel plots to steal the de la Vega fortune. She became pregnant with Montero's child, but it died, when it was born. In the end, she shoots Olmos Berroterran de la Guardia, who was a hunchback and Fernando's secretary for exposing her. Olmos was in love with Mariangel. After she shot him, Olmos thrust a knife into her and the two of them died in the town square as Esmeralda and Don Diego watched.
