Alisa Silvermane is a villainess from the TV series "Spider-Man: The Animated Series". She appeared in three 1995-1996 episodes "Tablet of Time", "Ravages of Time", and "Tombstone". She is voiced by Leigh-Allyn Baker.

Spider-Man managed to save Alisa but she shot him with a laser which caused Spider-Man to pass out. Sometime later Alisa arrived at Silvermane's headquarters and had Spider-Man chained to a wall. Soon after Tombstone also arrived and gave Silvermane the Tablet of Time.

Background[]

Tablet of Time[]

As the daughter of New York crime lord Silvermane, Alisa was born into a life of crime. In her early twenties, the Tablet of Time was discovered. The tablet was an Aztec artifact said to bring eternal youth. Alicia's father, an old man, was desperate to gain the Tablet.

At the same time, Alisa began assisting at Dr. Connors' lab using the pseudonym Alisa SIlverheart. At the labs, the tablet was being scientifically examined until it was stolen by The Kingpin. Whilst working there, Alicia made friends with her co-workers and in particular fell for Peter Parker, with whom a date was arranged with. Silvermane hired Tombstone to steal the tablet back from Kingpin, as well as capture Dr. Connors. Alisa, being close with Connors, offers to help.

Ravages of Time

On the night of her date with Peter Parker, Alisa is informed via a phone call from Tombstone that Connors has been captured. Alisa is pleased by this news, but not that her date failed to show up. Immediately afterwards, former Silvermane employee Hammerhead as well as a team of goons, enter the cafe she was sitting in. They kidnap her. Spider-Man, who was outside tries to rescue her from the criminals, but they get away with her in a helicopter, and she is taken to Kingpin.

An agreement is made between Kingpin and Silvermane. Kingpin would return Alisa for his wife, Vanessa Fisk, whom Silvermane had kidnapped. But Kingpin used his Mega-Slayer robot to tie up Alisa, Vanessa, and Dr. Connors, breaking their deal. Tombstone uses a bazooka on the Mega-Slayer, which causes it to halt for some time. Spider-Man appears from within Kingpin's hideout with Dr. Connors' wife, Margaret, and fights the Mega-Slayer. During the chaos Alisa is kidnapped by Hammerhead in a helicopter again. They are pursued by Spider-Man, who manages to take down the helicopter, causing it to land on a rooftop.

When there, Hammerhead and Spider-Man fight, with Hammerhead defeated. After Spider-Man goes to assist Alisa, she pulls a laser gun on him, and stuns him, before stealing the helicopter to take him to Silvermane's recreation of the Aztec tomb where the Tablet of Time had been taken from. Tombstone had retrieved the Tablet from Kingpin at this point.

Dr. Connors was forced to experiment on the tablet, and got it to work on a plant. Excited by these results, Alisa informed her father that it was ready for use, despite Connors' protests that it was not ready. Before using the tablet, Silvermane opens the sunroof of the room, where a Mega-Slayer flies in. This causes a brief detraction, but it is defeated by Tombstone.

Silvermane uses the tablet, and it reduces his age by forty years, turning him from 80, to 40. His rejuvenated form gave him the energy to kill Spider-Man, as he had always wished to do. He's distracted by The Lizard, who he fights. But immediately following the fight, he is turned into a baby. Alisa picks him up, and tells Tombstone to activate the sunroof, which will cause the temple to overheat and explode. She runs out of the building humiliated with her father, right before the explosion.

Tombstone

One year later Alisa, now using the name Alisa Silver, is quietly taking over her fathers' business, but hears wind that the Daily Bugle are writing an exposé on her. She hires Tombstone to stop the reporters, but he fails and the piece is published. Alisa presumably retires to a private life.
