The Evil Queen (Diana Rigg) is the main villain of the 1987 Snow White film. As in most adaptations, she's the evil stepmother of Snow White, destined to be the fairest woman in the land. She does not seem to care about Snow White and hates how she gets attention.
She is a very vain and evil woman whom spends a lot of money for expensive potions and clothing. She also takes milk baths and it seems that she values her beauty sleep.
Her demise comes when she is invited to her stepdaughter Snow White's wedding, without knowing who is the bride. She is dressed in her most expensive ball gown and jewellery. Just before she leaves to celebrate the wedding she asks her Mirror once more that "Who is the fairest of all?". To her complete shock the magic Mirror reveals that the Bride is the most fairest of all, with the Queen coming in close second. Enraged and angry, she throws her perfume bottle at the mirror, which goes crazy and wind is heard all over her. Then she rushes to the wedding, unaware she accidentally broke the Mirror, which starts cracking and falling to pieces. Every time the mirror cracks, her clothes and jewels start to fall apart, and she is seen aging rapidly. She steps in to her carriage as a quite young looking attractive lady, but when she arrives to the wedding, she is but an old grey hag in dusty robes. Upon seeing the bride, she realizes that her stepdaughter has survived and is married to the handsome prince. Snow White still recognizes her evil stepmother and all the other wedding guests laugh to the Evil Queen's condition. Ashamed and shocked, the wicked queen tries to escape, but suddenly her magic Mirror completely shatters, the Queen falling to pieces, turning to a pile of dust with some grey hair and torn scarf which wind blows away.
Snow White and the Prince realize that they don't have nothing to fear anymore and everyone lives happily ever after, except Snow White's evil stepmother.
