Evelyn Sharp, aka Artemis (Madison McLaughlin) is a hidden recurring villainess from Season Five of Arrow.
Evelyn Sharp first appeared in Season Four's "Canary Cry," posing as the Black Canary and acting as a vigilante. She had idolized Black Canary and stole the Canary Cry while going after criminals connected to H.I.V.E.--with her main target being Ruvé Adams, the wife of Damien Darhk. She was stopped by Green Arrow when he reminded Evelyn of Black Canary's heroics, only stopping her to stay true to her hero. In Season Five's "The Recruits," Evelyn became part of Team Arrow, serving as the only female among a trio of Oliver Queen's trainees,and was later given the code name Artemis.
However, in the final scene of the episode, "Vigilante," Evelyn turned heel and revealed herself to be aligned with Prometheus, a villainous vigilante who had been going after Green Arrow. The scene showed Evelyn apparently being stalked by Prometheus, only for the villainess to face Prometheus and stated that she wasn't followed and that the rest of Team Arrow doesn't suspect a thing,while flashing an evil smile. In the following episode, "What We Leave Behind," the evil Evelyn revealed her villainous persona to the Green Arrow when she stood next to Prometheus and aimed an arrow at Oliver, while claiming that he is no hero and the world needs to be saved from him.
