Evelyn is a minor antagonist in "Fuga nella notte" (Escape in the Night), the 36th issue of the 1972 adult Italian comic "Jolanda de Almaviva". She was created by artist Milo Manara.
The wife of a plantation owner, Evelyn one day attempts to seduce a slave named Pardo as he works in her field while her husband is away. Knowing how unwise it would be to accept her advances, he at first tries to ignore her. However, Evelyn ups her endeavor by commanding him to hold a ladder steady while she picks roses growing high on the side of her home - all while wearing no underwear.
Eventually, Pardo's resistance finally breaks and he makes love to the woman out on the grass. Unfortunately, when her husband suddenly returns and catches the two, Evelyn immediately cries rape and screams at her better half to kill the slave. Pardo manages to wrestle the whip away from the plantation owner and strangles him, to Evelyn's horror. The villainess is then strangled herself.
