Ellen Robbins (Yvette Vickers) is an antagonist in a 1959 episode "A Mugging Evening" in the TV series "Mike Hammer".
Ellen works along with her boyfriend Brownie (Jack Hogan) and another thug (Gene Collins) as a mugging scam in Central Park of New York City. She picks out a married man named Robert Bart (William Keene) and makes out with him on a park bench. While distracted, her two partners jumps the man and take his briefcase.
Ellen is later seen at her home, when her older sister Myra Robbins (Irene Vernon) asks her where she got the briefcase. Ellen warns her to stay out of her business. It is learned that Ellen is already on probation and fears she is up to no good.
The cheating husband comes to Mike Hammer (Darren McGavin) for help. He wants to keep his name out of the newspapers. He had some important documents inside and wants them back. It is learned that Mr. Bart picked up Ellen at his hotel lobby and knows her name. Ellen knew he couldn't go to the police to get help because it would get back to his wife.
Mike phoned Ellen's sister Myra, and the two met for at Central Park to discuss her sister. Myra was giving ice skating lessons.
Mike then questioned Ellen, and she agreed she would get the briefcase back to Mr. Bart, but she didn't have it. In the meantime, Ellen received $1000 from Mr. Bart to return the briefcase. She said she would meet with her gang and get it back. However, it was soon seen that they didn't have it either. She was just using the opportunity to make up a story to save her from her gang. She told them that he had to give it to Mike Hammer.
After returning to her house, she loaded up the briefcase, packed a suitcase and headed to the bus station. While there counting her money, Brownie and Hill showed up. She tried to tell them that she was going to Jersey for the weekend. However, they had followed her and knew what was up. As a result, her partners are not happy. While her boyfriend is kissing her to distract her attention, the other thug stabs her in the back and took her wad of cash. Ellen is left on the subway floor as a screaming woman alerts the police.
