Elizabeth (Melissa Marty) is the villainess of the 2015 Lifetime film Dangerous Company. She was the assistant of Pauline Mitchell, the owner of fashion company Wendy Blue Fashion. On the surface, Elizabeth appeared to be the perfect assistant, doting and supportive. She is especially supportive when her boss begins experiencing memory lapses, stepping up to cover for her.
Unbeknownst to Pauline, however, Elizabeth was having an affair with the former's husband Aaron, and the two were conspiring to convince Pauline she was developing dementia like her late mother did in a plan to take control of her company and sell it to a Chinese investment firm (a proposal that Pauline refused to agree to), so Aaron could cover his financial losses. While Aaron drugged Pauline at home, Elizabeth helped to psychologically gaslight her by lying to and manipulating Pauline into thinking she was forgetting and misplacing things. But their plans hit a snag when a criminal they hired to pose as Aaron and alter Pauline's medical records for the purposes of further gaslighting her became greedy, resulting in Aaron accidentally shoving the man to his death in a confrontation.
As Elizabeth and Aaron were about to approve the proposal, Pauline burst in with evidence proving Aaron's guilt in the murder of the accomplice, resulting in the meeting being cancelled. Pauline then confronted Elizabeth, who in turn pulled a gun from her bag. She then suggested to a surprised Aaron that they could kill Pauline and make it look like an accident. Suddenly, Pauline grabbed the gun and, in the ensuing struggle, it went off and shot Aaron in the leg. Both women rushed to his side, with Elizabeth apologizing for shooting him. Pauline responded by punching Elizabeth, knocking her unconscious. Elizabeth and Paul were both later arrested.
