Dr. Sommers (Caia Coley) is a villainess from the 2015 Lifetime film A Mother Betrayed. She was a doctor at a psychiatric hospital who served as a henchwoman for Kevin Richardson and his wife, Lisa, as they attempted to take over the company owned by Lisa's boss, Monica Hooper (the film's main protagonist).
After setting Monica up to look mentally unstable, Kevin had Monica committed to Sommers' hospital, where Dr. Sommers began attempting to drug Monica with medications to make her catatonic. Sommers also interrupted Monica's parents Harry and Barbara as they tried to visit her, and refused to tell Harry what kind of medication Monica was being given. Unbeknownst to Dr. Sommers, Monica (having caught on to Kevin's scheme) had only been pretending to take the medicine being given to her.
Later on, Dr. Sommers found Monica in the bathroom, where she confronted the evil doctor on colluding with Kevin and accused her of being paid by him to drug her. In response, the evil Sommers attempted to claim Monica was having a manic episode that would subside after she took her next batch of drugs, only for Monica to refuse to believe her and stop Sommers from coming near her. Sommers later blasted Kevin when he arrived at the hospital to visit Monica, officially revealing herself as Kevin's henchwoman as she lambasted him for coming to the hospital after visiting hours and jeopardizing their plan. Sommers eventually allowed Kevin to go to Monica, reminding him that he still owed her a payment for her nefarious services. Lisa was ultimately arrested and Kevin was killed while trying to drive Monica off the road after she escaped the hospital, leaving Dr. Sommers' fate unknown.
